R. E. Beatty

R. E. Beatty is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) with a proven record of surpassing client expectations and excelling with complicated tax, accounting, and financial matters.

Beatty studied at Loyola University Maryland, earning both his BA and MBA while on a Division 1 athletic scholarship (soccer).  After a brief stint playing professionally in Italy – ended by injury – Beatty ran a successful import-export business for several years while living in Sicily, before eventually returning to the United States and turning his attention to accounting and finance.  In addition to collaboration with his clients, he has taught accounting, finance, and statistics courses at the college and university level since 2011.

Beatty combines practical business experience, extensive knowledge of the tax code and accounting regulations, and current financial trends to provide his clients with unparalleled service and measurable results.  As a result of his unique background and understanding of how various facets of business are intertwined, he can provide perspective, advice, and guidance that is outside the realm of most typical accounting professionals and CPAs.

Beatty lives in Severna Park with his three children and two Belgian shepherd dogs.  He enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, lifting weights, Formula 1, and as a passionate tifoso, all things Ferrari.
